When I was younger, I can remember telling everyone I was an ‘artist’. In the 70’s, Oklahoma City was a safe place to make a living as an artist or a chef. Like so many of my parents’ friends, and family members, my parents were young and free, and artists. So that’s what I thought everyone was; an artist.
In one way or another, my recent work has been centered around a quote by Edwin Arnold from his book called The Light of Asia: “Sleepers roam dim seas in dreams and land awearied on the shores of day, bringing strange merchandise from that black voyage.”
This website is in the process of an update, so there will be more information coming soon. I am adding recipes and travel stories, and things that can help you get organized, while attempting to stay organized myself while sleepily recounting all of the strange things from my voyages.
